Hand-washing is the best way to care for your alpaca wool clothing, but to save time, you can also machine wash alpaca garments. Since it is naturally anti-bacterial and odor-resistant, you'll find that you won't need to wash alpaca wool as often as other fabrics, so airing out your clothes is usually sufficient. This brings the added bonus that you can save water and energy.

Please note that our colors are natural and that each garment is hand-dyed, so no one else will have the exact same shade as you! Though natural dyes are environmentally friendly, protect your skin and are pleasing to the eye, they are poorer at bonding with textile fiber materials than synthetics. This may lead to some leaching with sweating or rubbing, and some slight color changes, so we recommend using with dark clothes or backpacks, especially when the clothes are new. We also recommend washing your clothing as little as possible, to ensure the unique color lasts.
